Whether you are really struggling with life or have an underlying feeling that you could be more connected with yourself and those around you, counselling can create the space you need to move forward.

I am a BACP and UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist. I am also an Internal Family Systems therapist. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, issues from childhood, challenges with relationships, bereavement and depression. I offer a warm, empathic, open and non-judgemental space for you to explore the issues that have prompted you to seek counselling.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on different approaches depending upon what best supports clients. These include humanistic, relational, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic approaches. I offer both short and long-term therapy and have worked with clients from many diverse backgrounds and varying personal situations. I charge £55 per session.

First steps

If you think you would like to explore counselling, I would suggest an initial meeting which will provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to get a feeling of what counselling is like if you have not experienced it before. We will explore what has led you to seek support as well as giving you a chance to ask questions, discuss your expectations and hopes for counselling.

Towards the end of our first session we will discuss how you feel the session went, and if and how we might continue working together. Meeting other therapists before you make a decision can be helpful, so there is no obligation to work with me after our first meeting. All therapists work in a unique way and it is important that you find the right person for you.
