About me

One of the most important experiences I have had in my own life was a confidential counselling relationship in which I felt safe and supported to explore the issues that were of most concern to me. It is this that I seek to provide clients, whether their reasons for coming to therapy are to change ways of coping in life that no longer work, to improve relationships, feel more in touch with themselves, or any of dozens of other reasons that might prompt someone to seek support.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I have found that different tried and tested theoretical approaches mean I am able to offer an approach that values the uniqueness of each person and their circumstances. For example, some clients might be drawn to exploring their past life dynamics in the present, while others perhaps need a more cognitive approach. Increasing, numbers of clients are finding the approach of Internal Family Systems therapy to be powerful and effective for them. Whichever approaches are most appropriate, my work is underpinned by ‘person-centred' principles such as empathy. I charge £55 per session. £40 for an introductory session.
